I swear I blinked and here he is 10 months, furniture cruising, trying to talk, beating up on his sister and just being way to big for his britches. His hair is starting to curl up right behind his ears which I think is the cutest thing ever along with his big smile when he’s jumping in his crib. The photos of him standing in front of the door below Keeley was on the other side making faces at him, they love each other so much, I just hope that love continues when their older and he’s ripping the heads of her barbies and she’s trying to make him play dress up…

I’ve been working at my new job for a little over a month or so now and I have to say I miss being a stay at home mommy (don’t get me wrong I love my job and everyone I work with ) I feel like I’m missing so many things so I feel like I’m taking a million more photos than normal (is that even possible?) so I can capture all of his little moments before he starts walking and then it’s all over haha. I am loving having my new 16-35mm when I’m shooting him because I feel like he can crawl close and it’s still ok, he loves having his photo taken as you can tell, except he’s not a huge fan of the instax, I think it’s because of the flash though, he’s not really used to that yet.

When did my baby girl get to be so big? Time really does fly. Each day she is learning something new, or coming up with a new dance move, she never stops amazing me. Right now she is all about Hello Kitty so her party was all about Hello Kitty as you can tell. On her actual birthday we just did a little mini party for her, then on the weekend we had some of her friends and lots of family over to play outside on her new (to us, thank you so much to my aunt, uncle and cousins for handing this down to the kids they love it!) swing set and eat some yummy cake (the Hello Kitty cake was made by my super talented best friend Stacey who is also the kids awesome godmommy Keeley’s Hello Pittie dress is a custom dress by Lil Blue Boo and her skirt on her party day is by Lil Wellies, both have super cute clothes so go check them out!!

I’m excited to see what the age of 3 holds for us with Keeley <3

this is only almost a month late but better late than never. I can’t believe Jax is 9 months old! where did my little newborn go?? He’s so active and wants to be in EVERYTHING! He has 3 words he likes to say now (dada, mama and uh oh) He’s my little man <3

We got Keeley a kite since it’s been windy lately. She had a rough go with it at first so daddy helped her get it in the air.

Keeley got playdough and dress up outfits from her cousins for her birthday, she was so happy playing with it all and making us playdough sundays.

Jax is quite the mover these days, he’s furniture cruising when he can, but he’s also a super speedy crawler, which is my most of my photos come out like the one of the left. he sees the camera and bolts straight towards it. I still have Keeley’s birthday photos to go through, I feel really behind in photos but I’m trying to catch up

I can’t believe my baby girl is 3! It seems like yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital and getting used to being parents. I feel like I blinked and now she’s a sassy toddler who loves to draw, take photos with her camera like mommy, anything Hello Kitty and to dance. I can’t wait to see what life has in store for her and all the things she will do. I’ll have more photos up after her party on Sunday I’m excited about her party and I’m pretty sure she is too

I love this couple so much (see there last session in Beaufort here and here) and I was soo happy when they said they would make the trip all the way up from Beaufort for this session! I can’t wait until their wedding!! <3

So I had a lot of ideas for Keeley’s photos but I never could pin one down to do so I thought lets just let her have fun. Well she wasn’t really into having her photos taken at all that day and was constantly telling me “no more photos mommy, put down the camera” so it wasn’t a great photo day but I think she still had a lot of fun running around playing and getting pulled in the wagon. I cannot believe my baby girl will be 3 so soon, it feels like yesterday she was born they grow up way too fast!!

My cousin’s baby shower was Sunday so I took advantage of having her little family all together to snap some quick maternity photos. Here are some of my favorites!

I’m totally jacking this post name from my friend Katie and her Rally Point blog, but I couldn’t help it, it was perfect for this. Jax is starting to pull up on everything and wanting you to hold his hands so he can walk. The other day he pulled up on my pant legs and gave me this look like “man mom this is hard work” I wish I could slow down time I feel like both kids are growing up way too fast.

Keeley didn’t like that Jax was getting the attention of the scale photo and wanted to play with the scale which she calls a clock so here is an outtake from the above photo to show her pouting and the precaution we used so Jax stayed on the scale

I am sooo happy that he still fits in his swing that thing is magic sometimes when he doesn’t want to sleep like the other early morning.
