    Hi, I'm Misty and this is my photoblog. Photography has always been a passion of mine since I could hold up a camera. So I'm always eager to learn new things and keep shooting. I do photography of all kinds but on location is my specialty. I love capturing real moments shared by people. I'm a Canon girl so all my equipment is Canon. The Morris’s . Family . Fredericksburg Va photography

Here is another family I was excited to photograph (I mean I’m excited to photograph all my shoots but you get what I mean). I had the pleasure of shooting Liz and James when we all lived in California back when I was still shooting film with my trusty old Pentax. Now we’ve all moved back to the east coast and had little girls

:)Liz is also a photographer so we had fun with tons of ideas for this shoot. I brought a long my little mini Diana camera which was good because Miss N loved it! and I thought it was fun to use in the shots since Liz is a photographer, so it looks like Miss N wants to be one too:)Guys thanks again for letting me photograph ya’ll! and Liz you better take photos of these in your house so I can see them:)

I was so happy with Casie booked this shoot because I had already gotten a chance to photograph lil miss before when she was little. I’m also happy we did the shoot with their family dogs because shortly after Hunter passed away, I’m happy we got photos of them as a whole family and Hunter looking happy and beautiful. This is one of the most photogenic families ever! Seriously Cooper has the cutest “cheese” face and his parents aren’t half bad at the smiling thing either

:)I was so happy when Christina scheduled a shoot when I was in town! I’ve been wanting to meet her and her adorable family and since they were moving not long after this trip I figured it was now or never:PHere are some of my favorites from our shoot.

Megan & Louis . Danville Va, Gretna Va photography

I cannot wait for these two’s wedding in October! and I cannot wait to show you Megan’s bridal photos because I love love love them! We walked around downtown Danville for a while then headed to Louis’s grandpa’s farm for some more photos before we lost the light.

The Rauch’s . Fredericksburg Va photography

I cannot say enough about this couple. I met Vanessa way way way back in like 2004 on Xanga and was fortunate enough to photograph them in 2007ish when they were stationed in Lejeune. In August of 2008 while Courtney was deployed in Afghanistan his humvee was hit by an IED severely injuring him. You can read more about that here. As a result of the accident he lost part of his leg, but trust me that hasn’t stopped him from doing anything he wants to do. Both Courtney and Vanessa are two of the strongest people I know and they both have super big hearts especially when it comes to dogs. They have four furbabies that are absolutely adorable! I met Toby and Lucy when we did our first shoot and got this photo which is still one of my favorites

Now their a family of 6 with the addition of Tucker and Alabama and although it may be chaotic at times they are all so fun and one big happy family. I was so happy I was able to photograph this family again we had so much fun, thank you guys again!
